JUMBO TUB – FEEDERS JT3, JT4, JT5, JT6
The Jumbo Tub feeder is a simple feeder to operate, when it comes down to cost saving economies of scale, more and more farmers are choosing the Jumbo feeder over conventional 2 bale feeders. Why bother going all that distance running a tractor with just 2 bales when you can carry up to 6? Our research has shown that farmers feeding over 2,000 bales per year are paying for the machine from the saving in running costs in just 2 seasons.
Specifically designed for large herd farmers or customers feeding over 6 bales a day, these feeders are state of the art, designed hand in hand with farmer requirements with over 20 years of field experience. The Tub body, monocoque design is the most efficient way of holding chopped bales waiting to be fed out.
At Agmech, the feed back we have gained has showed that cut bales over conventional round bales have many advantages and cost savings, however they can be difficult to handle and feed out. They are generally much denser and are just waiting to fall to pieces.
The Agmech Jumbo Tub range allows farmers to take full advantage of the benefits of cut bales without the usual hassles of handling them. It is (we believe) the machine that completes the system. This feeder was a joint development with direct involvement from both farmers and Agmech engineer’s.
The Agmech Jumbo allows bales to be feed out with a similarity of ease to that of pit silage, not forgetting the added benefit of self loading. The loading arm allows for the removal of both the plastic and NETWRAP at the point of loading, resulting in massive time savings in the paddock. Some owners have reported time savings of up to 60% over their previous systems. Taken over the life of the machine, this equates to tens of thousands of $$$ then there is the added value that the feeder be used for transport of bales when equipped with the removable shredder…
All Agmech Jumbo Tub machines are fitted with both the unique ‘fixed high curve elevator’ and a tease out shredder. This combination has put Agmech to the forefront of the multiple bale machine sales. The fixed elevator is totally un-blockable… even by the mass of chopped silage that can overwhelm a conventional tease shredder, when presented to the fixed elevator the bale just simply rolls back into the chamber allowing only required volumes to actually get fed out, so no more blocking and its great… On the opposite side to the fixed elevator we have the standard tease shredder which is ideal for both bi-directional feed and also those tight hay bales that have the weathered crust on them. Please note quite a few machines have been built with a tease rota on both sides, this is for special circumstances like feeding tight Lucerne bales and long chopped hay bales.
