These Jumbo feeders are the simplest of feeders to operate, that’s why more farmers are choosing the Jumbo feeder over conventional 2 bale feeders. Why bother going all that distance on the tractor with just 2 bales when you can carry up to 6! Farmers feeding over 2,000 bales per year are paying for thier new machine from the saving in running costs in just 2 seasons, making this an essential part of any feed out programme.
Specifically designed for large herd farmers or customers feeding over 4 - 6 bales a day, these feeders are state of the art, designed hand in hand with farmers requirements over 20 years of field experience. The flat floor design lends it self to a low drag factor requirement prior to loading the ‘twin shredder’ feed out chamber. The 3 toothed rota's are extremely aggressive on all types and all diameter bales, fitted with the non blocking combs the shredders are offset to the floor, creating a 'v' for the bale to fit in, this has contributed immensely to this feeder handling the 'rota cuts' superbly. There is an added advantage to the twin shredder that the near side shredder is lower that the offside shredder, ideal for when the bale is getting to the central core.
The Jumbo feeder is designed to handle all types of material and presents the crop to the animals in a condition that you the farmer will be satisfied with. The teasing shredders are able to be used in either direction allowing the operator to maximise the volume of feed delivered over a certain distance. Whether you want to feed-out as fast as possible or just supplement feed with a fine row the Jumbo feeder will be able to provide this day-in day-out with just about any skill level operating the tractor.
