COMPANY BACKGROUND
Agmech is New Zealands newest agricultual machinery manufacturer, offering an extensive range of innovative engineering design and manufacture specailising in both tip trailers and feed out equipment.

Agmech was established in 1998 following a move from the UK with Cantabrian wife and a handful of youngsters in-tow, Gary Baker (owner) set up shop with a wealth of Knowledge following many years within the European agricultural scene.

Located centrally in Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand, boasting a current 35,000ft industrial facility made up of primarily 20,000ft of fabrication, 3,000ft of machine shop and 10,000ft of paint, assembly and component storage.

Agmech has aspired itself over the last ten years in many ways: - for example

Design & Specification
A particular advantage to the customer is the powerful blends of practical farming experience combined with exceptionally skilled engineering backed up by proficient sales and administration staff. The continued drive for functionality, quality, durability and affordability has catapulted Agmech to the forefront of agricultural technology and innovation.

Production Line Manufacturing
Many of our products are built in gigs to a continuous specification; this ensures continuity as well allows us to maintain our low production costs. However we find at least 20% of our customers have special requirements. With our extensive ‘field’ experience coupled with the latest computed aided technology Agmech can reactively offer the highest level of advice, with workable engineering solutions that are efficient and relevant. When it comes to the crunch Agmech is listening, offering our experience and coming up with workable solutions.

Engineered Components
With our own fully equipped machine shop, we are able to ensure production of our finished goods. At Agmech we try to do as much work in house as possible, as well as encouraging sub contract work. The machine shop offers, competitive:-

Finishing & Paintwork
Agmech endure to present their products in the best condition possible. The process of finishing includes a QA inspection to make sure all parts are fitted and welds are complete. The product is then garnet blasted followed by a heavy prime coat which is allowed to dry. Two gloss of high gloss enamel are then applied, with heat to ensure the best possible finish even in winter.

Quality Assurance
Assembly is constantly occupied by various vehicles and these products are checked as they are assembled as well as checked prior to leaving the bay.
